One of the reasons why naturopathic medicine has favored the use of natural oils to treat nail fungus is because most of these have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that help eliminate the presence of fungus and prevent nail infections from becoming chronic.

Among the most recommended essential oils are clove oil, jasmine oil, cinnamon oil, wild oregano oil, lemon oil, and eucalyptus oil. To achieve more effective results, dilute the chosen essential oil in coconut or olive oil and then apply directly to the nails.
