  • “The Rock” assured in a video that his number one priority in life is to protect his family and loved ones.

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, one of the most important celebrities in Hollywood, announced on his Instagram account that he, his wife and their two daughters have tested positive for coronavirus.

It was “two and a half to three weeks” of fighting, but now everything is over and he decided to open his heart to the millions of followers around the world who accompany him.

“This virus that is so incredibly relentless and unforgiving and it’s insidious,” Johnson said in his video.

“I can tell you that this has been one of the most difficult and challenging things we have ever had to endure as a family,” Johnson said in a video on his Instagram account.

“I’ve been through some trouble in the past, I got hit and my butt kicked with some challenges,” he said. “But testing positive for COVID-19 is very different from recovering from unpleasant injuries, or being evicted or even being broke, which I have already happened to me a few times.”

“The reason I feel this is different is that my number one priority is always to protect my family,” said “The Rock.”

“I wish I had been the only positive one, but it wasn’t like that, it was my whole family, so that was a hard blow. But I am happy to tell you that we are doing well. We are almost at the end (…). We can no longer infect and, thank God, we are in good health. We have overcome COVID-19 and we are stronger and healthier, ”he said.

“We are counting our blessings at this time, because we are very aware that it is not always the case that you are on the other side of having successfully passed COVID-19.”

“Some of my best friends have lost their parents, their loved ones, to this virus that is so incredibly unforgiving and unforgiving and insidious.”

Johnson explains that her “babies,” four-year-old Jasmine and two-year-old Tiana, had “a bit of a sore throat for the first few days, but they recovered.”

However, the coronavirus was very different for The Rock and his wife Lauren. “We had a bad time, but we got over it.”

Apparently, the actor and his family contracted COVID-19 from “very close family friends.” “These are people we love and trust, they are people we still love and trust.”

“They are devastated by the way we get infected. They have no idea where they got it themselves.

“They, like us, have been quite disciplined. I am extremely disciplined when it comes to health and safety measures for my family… we have been locked up since March. I haven’t worked and I feel like we’ve done a good job protecting our family. “

After going through this experience, “The Rock” has some “conclusions” that he wants to share with everyone.

“Many of you want to invite your friends, your family, your loved ones, of course you want that, because you want that connection … now apply even greater discipline to invite people to your home.”

“There are going to be new rules that I am implementing and I pass them on to you. If you have family and friends in your house, you know them, you trust them, yet you still never know. So take aggressive action. “

The Rock suggested that everyone who comes in get tested first.

“Get everyone tested before going to your house. Get them tested the day before, and if they test negative, let them go. If not, stay away. Those are some of the things we are going to do ”.

The other thing I “wanted to share”, “which was certainly helpful”, is a “commitment to wellness and health and doing everything possible to boost our immune system.”

“One of the things we can all do is do everything possible to boost our immune system: antioxidants, take our vitamins, stay hydrated … We have to control the controllable ones.”

“Be very careful. Don’t let your guard down ”.

He also had another piece of advice: “Put on the mask. It’s a fact, it’s the right thing to do. It is something of responsibility, not only for you, your family or your loved ones, but also for other human beings “.

“I am not a politician, I am a man who cares deeply about my family and I will do my best to protect them, but I am also a man who cares about all of you.”

The Rock also shared that he is willing to talk more about his experience in the future: “I know you have a lot of questions for me and at some point we will have a question and answer session in the future.”

Johnson also used this clip to remember the basic prevention measures against the coronavirus.
