Arturo Caballero, 46 ​​years old, was arrested by the El Paso Police Department (EPPD, for its acronym in English) for the accident he was involved in when he was allegedly driving drunk.

Pablo Fierro, 39, was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Woodrow Bean Transmountain Dr. in the northeast of the El Paso metropolitan area.

Fierro was riding his motorcycle with his friend Gabriela Ortiz-Olivas sitting in the back.

When the couple reached the intersection of Woodrow Bean Transmountain Dr. and Railroad Dr., the traffic light stopped them and Fierro stopped the large-displacement motorcycle.

Fierro and Ortiz-Olivas felt the brutal blow and were thrown forward several feet, until they hit the pavement.

However, when paramedics at the El Paso Fire Department (EPFD) discovered that the driver of the Toyota Camry was not unconscious from the hit, but was allegedly very drunk.

Arturo Caballero was taken into custody on two counts of fatal assault due to intoxication and taken to the El Paso County Detention Center to face legal process.
