On the most recent season of the show, these criticisms have gained strength on social media.

An internet user from Puerto Rico complained about issues with the voting platform on TikTok.

According to this user, the website for voting to evict houseguests is «restricted» in Puerto Rico, which prevents citizens of that country from exercising their right to participate in the show.

The woman reported that she and several Puerto Rican residents were surprised that Telemundo did not allow them to vote for their favorites.

Although she initially thought it was a problem with her mobile device, she soon realized that it was a widespread problem in Puerto Rico.

She stated, «In Puerto Rico, the majority cannot vote. Yesterday, it didn’t let me vote, it didn’t let my wife vote. I couldn’t vote on my secondary phone.»

«We were all trying to vote and we couldn’t vote. Today I wake up with more than 23 tags on TikTok, telling me that they can’t vote,» she added.

The TikToker also suggested that this situation was fraud on the part of Telemundo to favor certain contestants. She specifically pointed to Maripily Rivera.

LCDLF fans demand transparency

Her comments have unleashed a wave of indignation among fans who demand transparency and respect for the audience.

On social media, numerous internet users have expressed their discontent and have urged Telemundo producers to guarantee fairness in voting.

Some notable comments include: “It’s true, you couldn’t vote for Maripily last night. It’s the truth, they blocked so we couldn’t vote for Maripily.» «Enough of fraud.» «They are going to lose their audience.»

It is important to point out that this is not the first time Telemundo is accused of fraud regarding La Casa de los Famosos.

Telemundo responds to accusations of fraud

Previous former contestants have stated that producers can manipulate situations to favor or harm certain contestants.

Despite these complaints, Telemundo has not issued specific comments on the TikTok video.

However, in previous statements, they have assured that cutting-edge technology is used to guarantee transparency in voting and that the audience has the power to decide the direction of the program.

The next eviction from La Casa de los Famosos is scheduled for April 22, when we will see how Puerto Rico’s inability to vote will affect Maripily Rivera.
