Raisi made it clear that any attempted invasion by Israel would be met with a massive and determined response by Iran.

This reflects the country’s firm stance.

The military parade, a prominent event on Iran’s national calendar, took place at a barracks north of the capital, Tehran, in a decision that surprised many.

Although Iranian authorities did not provide an official explanation for this change, it happened at a time of intense surveillance in the region.

This comes after the recent attack on the Iranian embassy compound in Syria.

The April 1 incident, in which a suspected Israeli attack resulted in the deaths of 12 people, including two Iranian generals, triggered a series of actions and reactions between both nations.

Iran responded forcefully by launching hundreds of missiles and drones at targets in Israel over the weekend, according to The Associated Press.

This increases concern about a possible deterioration of the situation in the region.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that his country will maintain its autonomy to decide how and when to respond to the recent airstrike carried out by Iran.

This statement, which dismisses calls from its allies to exercise restraint, reflects Israel’s determination in handling the current situation.

The unprecedented attack by Iran has left the region on high alert, with Israel promising a proportional response, although it does not specify when or in what way.

This uncertainty has exacerbated tension, especially after months of conflict related to the Gaza Strip.

In the middle of the crisis Israel’s allies, including the United Kingdom and Germany, have urged restraint, seeking to avoid a climbing even greater part of the conflict, according to the AP.

However, the statements of the Iranian president, who warns of a «massive and harsh» response to any provocation, keep the atmosphere charged with uncertainty.

Meanwhile, violence intensifies with new clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, the Lebanese group backed by Iran.

In a recent attack, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into northern Israel, wounding several Israeli soldiers.

In response, Israeli military forces carried out attacks against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

In a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu reiterated Israel’s determination to defend itself, thanking its allies for their support but stressing that decisions will be made internally.

This stance reflects Israel’s willingness to preserve its sovereignty and security amid growing regional tension.

The Iranian president, in a direct warning, declared: «I want to be clear: we will make our decisions for ourselves. The State of Israel will do whatever is necessary to defend itself.»
