Shooting breaks out at Oxford High School in Michigan. Oakland County police responded Tuesday to a violent situation at a Michigan high school. The incident caused alarms to be activated in the area and the school had to be closed.

The Sun, reported that an active shooter was in the Oxford High School facilities in Michigan, so county police quickly went to the premises of the the school, where the students and school staff were sheltered in the midst of the chaos and terror.

Police stated that the 15-year-old suspect who had opened fire on students at Oxford High School had been arrested and disarmed. According to information from The Sun, it is believed that only one person was responsible for the shooting.

In addition, officers confirmed that there are at least three students dead and six injured, a teacher among them. However, the police are still confirming details of the situation. At this time it is not known for sure who was wounded or what their condition is.

Videos on social media such as Twitter and Facebook, showed multiple patrol cars and teams from the aviation unit and SWAT quickly responding to the call for help in the face of the active shooter emergency unfolding at Oxford High School.

A shooting incident in US schools activates a series of emergency protocols set up to protect students. This involves locking down the institution even though the shooter is often still on the scene.

“There is an emergency situation occurring at Oxford High School at this time,” the high school sent this message to the parents and guardians of the students, who immediately rushed to the scene to find out about their children’s safety.

“Oakland County’s officers are on the scene and we have activated emergency protocols and the institution was immediately shut down. We will send more information to you as soon as we have it. Please do not go to school,” reads the message from administrators.

According to reports from ‘Local 4’ news, the shooting at Oxford High School began around 12 noon in the school hallway. While the motive and the person responsible are being confirmed, police are requesting that parents pick up their children at the Meijer store located on N. Lapeer Road.

At 2 p.m. local time, Oakland County officers reportedly were conducting a second search and inspection at Oxford High School in order to identify if there were more injured victims in the facility. Meanwhile the motive for the shooting and the person responsible are being identified.

SHOOTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. A mass shooting east of Baltimore, Maryland, resulted in multiple victims. The Baltimore Police Department reported that several people were injured by gunfire, including a 16-year-old.

Sunday, at approximately 3:35 p.m., officers from the Eastern District of Baltimore City flocked to the 1300 block of North Montford Avenue in response to multiple reports of gunfire. The local police reported in a statement that they had opened an investigation into the shooting in the eastern district. Seven people were shot and immediately transferred to a medical center in the city.

“On Chester Avenue, the agents found male victims who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. They were ages 24, 28, 23, 28, under 16,” reports said. Filed Under: Oxford High School Shooting.

According to authorities, an ambulance took the first victims of the shooting to a nearby hospital. They also revealed that they are in stable condition. Subsequently, two more people showed up on their own at a medical facility to be treated for gunshot wounds.

“A short time later, male victims aged 38 and 30 entered an area hospital seeking treatment for multiple gunshot wounds to the body,” the police said. “Both victims said they were on North Montford Avenue when they were shot,” he added. Filed Under: Oxford High School Shooting.

Pieces of the puzzle to solve the case are still missing, but Eastern District detectives are working on it. “Anyone with information should contact the Eastern District shooting investigators at 410-396-2433,” the police requested in their statement.

Police investigating a murder

This is not the only case that the police had to deal with. On Sunday morning, police found a 34-year-old man shot to death. An officer from the Northwest District of the Baltimore Police Department responded.

At around 1:40 a.m., a person was reported lying on the ground on the 2800 block of Garrison Boulevard. Upon reaching the neighborhood located south of Garwyn Oaks, the police officer found a man who’d been shot.

According to Baltimore police, the man they found wounded on the ground had a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Fox65News reported.
