Corn Cake in Pressure Cooker

Preparation time: 1 h
Cooking time: 40 min

Presentation: Serve on a cake base, accompanied with cajeta bitumen and walnuts.

Tips: It is important that the butter and eggs are at room temperature, otherwise the preparation could be cut. If this happens, blend for 1 minute to restore fat.

Ingredients

  • 5 ears of corn, medium, shelled
  • 1 cup of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
  • 1 package of cream cheese, for bitumen
  • 1/4 cup of cajeta, for bitumen
  • to taste of walnut, chopped, to decorate

Preparation

  1. Blend the corn with the condensed milk.
  2. In a bowl, sift the flour together with the baking powder.
  3. Beat the butter until creamy, add the sugar, add the eggs and the vanilla essence one by one.
  4. Add the corn mixture and the powders, beat until incorporated.
  5. Pour into a previously floured and greased mold with a diameter of 20 cm.
  6. Place in a pressure cooker with a bain-marie, once the valve sounds, cook for 40 min over medium heat. Chill and unmold.
  7. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, add the cajeta and beat until incorporated.
  8. Cover the bread with the bitumen and decorate with chopped walnuts.

Impossible Cake without Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sugar, for the caramel
  • 3/4 cups of flour, for the cake
  • 1/8 cup of cocoa, for the cake
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda, for the cake
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt, for the cake
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted, for the cake
  • 1/2 cup of sugar, for the cake
  • 2 egg yolks, for the cake
  • 1/2 cup of whipping cream, for the cake
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, for the cake
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate, melted for the cake
  • 2 egg whites, for the cake
  • 1 can of evaporated milk, for the flan
  • 1 can of condensed milk, for the flan
  • 4 eggs, for the flan
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence, for the flan
  • 3 tablespoons of rum, for the flan
  • to taste of walnut, chopped, to decorate
  • to taste of strawberry, in halves to decorate
  • to taste of biscuit wafer, to decorate

Preparation

  1. For the caramel, cook the sugar in a saucepan for 5 minutes until obtaining an amber liquid. Do not move it so that it does not crystallize. Pour into a cake tin and cool.
  2. For the chocolate cake, in a bowl mix the dry ingredients.
  3. In a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar, add the yolks and beat until they sponge, add the cream, the vanilla essence and the melted chocolate.
  4. Besides, beat the whites until they double in volume.
  5. Add the powders to the yolk mixture in an enveloping way and then gently mix the whites until completely integrated. Pour into the caramel cake pan and spread.
  6. For the flan, blend the evaporated milk with the condensed milk, the eggs, the vanilla and the rum.
  7. Pour the flan mixture over the cake with the help of a spoon gently to avoid mixing, cover with aluminum foil, place in a bain-marie and cook on a stove over medium heat for 50 minutes or until cooked.
  8. Chill and refrigerate for at least two hours. Unmold and decorate with nuts, strawberries and cookies.

  • 2 cups of cinnamon cookie
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 1/3 packages cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cup whipping cream, 300 ml
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 5 tablespoons of flour
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 cups strawberry, whole and stem removed

Preparation

  1. Blend the cinnamon cookies and butter until you have a dough
  2. Add the cookie mixture to your mold and press until it forms a base, refrigerate.
  3. In a mixer, beat the cream cheese, add the whipping cream, the sugar, the eggs one by one, the vanilla, and the flour until perfectly incorporated.
  4. Pour the smoothie into your mold and close or cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Place it in a pressure cooker with liquid and on a rack, close and cook after the valve sounds for 20 minutes. Chill before uncovering.
  6. Remove the cheesecake from the pressure cooker and refrigerate for about two hours.
  7. Unmold and decorate with jam and strawberries.
