A SHOCKING CASE. After being arrested for setting a fire, a man was released from jail without bail. Now he has been charged with the double murder of a mother and her daughter, who were found dead in his apartment. Evidence points towards 27-year-old Luis Gabriel Ramos.

Yonkers police presented an arrest warrant for Ramos. The suspect was found near the Mexican border while attempting to escape authorities. He has been named one of the prime suspects of the two women’s deaths. Authorities believe that Ramos knew the victims well.

The New York Post reported that Luis Gabriel Ramos, a 27-year-old Hispanic man, was charged with stabbing a mother and daughter with a knife in their Yonkers apartment last weekend. This was after he had spent a couple of days in prison on an arson charge in Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 26.

Authorities are continuing the investigation into the deaths of both women and after much digging they came to the conclusion that one of the persons of interest in the case had a prior record and had been released from jail just a couple of days earlier. In addition, from the evidence that the investigation revealed, Ramos was well-known to both women.

Yonkers police issued a press release announcing the situation that led to the search for a mother and daughter. According to the report, several people had asked the police to perform a wellness check after realizing the two women had not been seen for several days. The call was made on November 1 and the check was carried out the same day.

”On Monday, November 1, 2021, at approximately 4:30 pm, members of the Yonkers Police Department responded to 68 Shipman Avenue, to conduct a resident welfare check at the request of an interested third party: The whereabouts of a mother and her daughter had been unknown for several days. According to the press release that was issued, because no one answered the door at the residence, police had to enter by force. That was when they found the terrifying scene. Police reported that both women had died due to multiple knife wounds.

“The responding officers were unable to contact anyone inside the house and forced entry. Inside the home, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of two women, both killed by apparent multiple stab wounds. Aside from the bodies found at the crime scene, the police were supported by detectives from the Major Case Squad and the Crime Scene Unit to carry out the investigation and find clues to the women’s deaths. In the statement, it was reported that surveillance videos have already been recovered and forensic evidence was sent to the crime lab.

According to the information presented by authorities, there is already probable cause that Ramos is the one who murdered the two women, who were found stabbed to death in an apartment in Yonkers, New York. The Yonkers Police Department confirmed that an arrest warrant was issued for Luis Gabriel Ramos, a Hispanic resident of Yonkers who had recently been charged with arson. The document alleged that the man had stabbed two victims to death this past weekend.

“Murder charges and an arrest warrant were brought against Luis Gabriel Ramos, a 27-year-old resident of Saw Mill River Road in this city. Luis Gabriel Ramos, 27, upon learning that he was being wanted by the US authorities for the murder of the two women, tried to flee the United States by heading towards the border of Mexico. His escape attempt was thwarted when the FBI Fugitive Task Force managed to capture him.

“Ramos then fled the area to the southwestern United States, to supposedly escape capture. He was detained by the FBI’s Phoenix Fugitive Task Force in the unincorporated community of Salome, Arizona, Tuesday night without incident. press.

According to the press release, Ramos is expected to be extradited to New York where he will be prosecuted for the murder of both women. The victims, named Isabella Triano, 70, and Trisha Miller, 38, were close to the alleged culprit and unfortunately lost their lives this past weekend.
