Great Latin American baseball players like Yuli Gurriel, Carlos Correa and José Altuve for the Astros, and Rafael Devers, JD Martínez, Enrique «Kike» Hernández, to name a few, have added flavor to this series, which is tied 1-1.
Carlos Correa and José Altuve the Latinos Back to Back of the Astros
Carlos Correa sealed the Astros victory with a tremendous home run in the first game of the series, being considered by some commentators as the “Lebron James” of baseball.
While the Venezuelan José Altuve reached 20 home runs in his postseason career equaling the newly enthroned in the Hall of Fame, Derek Jeter. Without a doubt, a good example of Latinos Back to Back.
Enrique “Kike” Hernández “Its on Fire!”
Puerto Rican Enrique “Kike” Hernández earns his spot by hitting three home runs in the first two games of the American League Championship Series.
“Kike” had already been part of our section in the last game of the Division Series against the New York Yankees with tremendous defensive work.
Rafael Devers and JD Martínez with grand slams for Boston in game 2
While in Game 2 Boston defeated Houston 9-5, driven by something never seen in the Championship Series, a match of two grand slams, JD Martínez fired one to open the match and then Devers followed suit.
The third game of the series will be played this Monday, October 18 at 8:08 p.m., we hope to see more actions from Latinos Back to Back.
