- When are drunk drivers going to understand? I think never.
We have written a thousand times about tragedies caused by reckless drivers who, after consuming intoxicating drinks, take to the streets feeling more macho than ever and even believe that this way they will drive better than ever. But it seems that we will continue to discuss this touchy subject.
Sadly, the misfortunes caused by these irresponsible people seem to have no end. Just a few days ago, Georgia authorities informed us that two individuals, Hispanics to top it all, killed innocent people who were unlucky enough to cross their path when they were driving while intoxicated.
One Person Killed and Another Injured: Chronic Hispanic Fatal Accidents
A boy, just 23 years old, was arrested in Gwinnett County last week on charges of vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving, among other serious charges. According to the local police, another young man was also injured by the suspect’s daring.
The defendant was identified as César Daniel Gutiérrez, who resides in the city of Mableton, Cobb County, although it seems that his favorite nightclubs were those of Gwinnett. The mortal victim was called Leamleak Berhanu, while the injured was Gabriel Ramírez, a teenager who was in the same vehicle with Gutiérrez as a passenger.

Authorities indicate that after leaving completely intoxicated from a “night out,” César started driving and after becoming completely disoriented, he turned in the opposite direction on Sugarloaf Parkway, a busy street. It didn’t take long for him to collide head-on with another vehicle.
Leamleak, who was completely sober, was hit at full speed. When the patrols and paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, they found even empty beer bottles and others half inside César’s car, which represents another crime, although it is the least serious of all.
This other one came out even more “smart”
Last February, another tragedy occurred in which an American father, who was loved by his family and by his entire community in the city of Athens, lost his life. Christopher Nix was calm, when he was also hit head-on by another car in which a drunk driver was driving.
The police assure that Juan Manuel Romero Garrido, 40, was unharmed in the accident due to things in his life as best he could, he left the scene before the patrols arrived to prepare the report. Juan even made an attempt to get closer to see how the other driver was doing or if he needed help. Filed Under: Chronic Hispanic Fatal Accidents
A Bounty On His Head: Chronic Hispanic Fatal Accidents
Obviously despite the fact that he was no longer there, the authorities did not take long to realize who had been the cause of the deadly collision and they went after him. They looked for Juan at his house, first, then at work and even in the bars he frequented, but until now, they have not been able to capture him.
They passed the case to the Stop Crime Unit, which gave a reward of 2,000 dollars to the person who provides information that allows their capture. Juan faces charges of vehicular manslaughter in the first degree, drunk driving, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run), among others. The police managed to stop him in time
A couple of days ago, the Atlanta City Police Department released a video that clearly shows how a driver fell asleep behind the wheel and when he was approached by the uniformed officers, he accelerated without even realizing it, reaching the point to invade the opposite lane.
Fortunately, that did not happen thanks to the courage of the agents involved who ran after the car and one of whom smashed the car windows with his baton, and literally forcibly removed the driver from the seat so that he would not continue pressing the accelerator. In this case the driver was African American. Filed Under: Chronic Hispanic Fatal Accidents
Why do we highlight Hispanics in our stories?
When we highlight the cases of Latinos in our social networks, some are offended and allege that this is an example of racism. Nothing is further from reality. We do it because our audience is 100 percent Hispanic, that is, they speak Spanish and we know that their interest is to have news that affects them or directly involves them as a community.
The Asian, Indian and Arab media do exactly the same. Only the English media are the ones that usually touch on all the issues from different angles and regardless of the race of the people, although of course, at the end of the day, most of the news that they expose, is also related to the white and black races. black.
