3-year-old girl is beaten by a homeless man with a brick (VIDEO)

A three-year-old girl is recovering in intensive care after a homeless man hit her on the head with a brick in Lima, Peru. According to the girl’s mother, both have gone through days of great anguish after the senseless attack that took place in broad daylight.

According to local media, the mother of the girl, Yovana Ocsa Hancco, confirmed that her daughter is stable after having undergone emergency surgery, according to La Opinion.

The attack was caught on video

In a disturbing video of the attack filmed by a security camera, it is seen how the man on the street hits the 3-year-old girl without explanation. For no apparent reason, he just hits her over the head with a brick. “I can’t bear to see her like that, my daughter. I don’t even have tears left to cry,” said the 24-year-old Hispanic mother in an interview with local television station 24 Horas.

The attack occurred in the La Victoria district, in the city of Lima, Peru, while the child was standing next to a juice stand on the street. In a matter of seconds, the homeless man approached the girl, took a brick that was lying on the ground and threw it forcefully at the head of the little girl, reported La Opinion.

The girl lost consciousness

After hitting the girl, the man continued walking undeterred, while the little girl collapsed on the street and lost consciousness. «Can you help me please, he hit her in the head,» the Hispanic mother shouted as she carried her daughter in her arms.

Since then, Ocsa Hancco and her little daughter have gone through hell. According to her statement, one of the hospitals she went to did not want to treat her because she did not have money to pay for the treatments. The attacker was arrested and identified as Walter Recoba Ramírez, who allegedly has mental problems. To see the video click HERE.

Rosalía Sánchez causes the death of a little girl while drunk driving

On the other hand, Rosalía Sánchez was arrested in Texas because, while intoxicated, she caused a car accident in which a four-year-old girl died. The Vehicular Crimes Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) charged Rosalía Sánchez with the very serious crime of drunk driving homicide.

According to the Penal Code of the State of Texas, the charge of drunk driving homicide is punishable by up to 20 years in jail for whoever is found guilty of that crime after facing trial. There were five children between the ages of 2 and 10 in the car that Rosalía Sánchez was driving at the time of the dramatic accident and all were injured.

Rosalía Sánchez is already detained in the county jail awaiting her first hearing before Judge Danilo Lacayo of the Harris County 182 Criminal District Court for a crime that is considered serious. The case of Rosalía Sánchez has shocked the Hispanic community of Houston in Texas.

According to the case documents, consulted by MundoHispánico In Texas, Rosalía Sánchez, 25, was driving her car at 4:30 in the morning on Sunday, November 14, 2021, on the Sam Houston Parkway North highway, known as Beltway 8, in the northeast of the metropolitan area of Houston.

The woman was drinking at a baby shower

Rosalía Sánchez was driving her car, a gray Nissan, accompanied by two 10-year-old girls, a 7-year-old girl, another 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. Some of the children may not have been secured with seat belts. The 4-year-old girl was actually sitting on the lap of another 10-year-old girl.

According to authorities, young Rosalía Sánchez may have been speeding. She had just left a baby shower that she had been invited to on the night of Saturday, November 13. The front end of Rosalía Sánchez’s car was crushed

While Rosalía Sánchez was driving in the southbound lanes on the Sam Houston Parkway North highway, she hit a piece of metal construction equipment head-on. There was a large sign with bright lights, announcing that there was road work ahead and urging motorists to slow down.

The woman showed ‘obvious signs’ of intoxication

Other motorists along with construction and road repair workers who were in the area called the HCSO emergency number to report the brutal accident and told authorities that the five children who were in the car with Rosalía Sánchez were injured.

The first officers who arrived at the accident site stated in their report that when they questioned Rosalía Sánchez, the woman showed “obvious signs” of intoxication. The HCSO patrols arrested her initially on charges of driving while intoxicated  (DWI). Filed Under: Girl beaten by homeless.

Rosalía Sánchez had four girls and a boy in her car

Some of the witnesses to Rosalía Sánchez’s accident told detectives from the HCSO Vehicle Crimes Division that the woman hit the road sign warning of the construction ahead and then her car hit the concrete barrier, and still she did not stop.

According to investigators, the four girls and the boy who were allegedly with Rosalía Sánchez inside the vehicle were expelled from the car by the force of the impact. The four-year-old girl passed away in the hospital

However, when the 4-year-old was in surgery at the Texas Children’s Hospital, with doctors fighting to save her life, the little girl’s body could not take it anymore and she died due to the severity of her injuries. The other three girls and the boy remain in the same hospital in critical condition according to authorities.

When it was confirmed that the girl had died in the early hours of Sunday, November 14, officers from the Homicide Division of the HCSO informed Rosalía Sánchez in the Harris County jail that her charges were being upgraded from DWI to drunk driving homicide. Rosalía Sánchez lives more than 20 miles away from the scene of the accident

At the time of writing, Judge Danilo Lacayo of the 182nd Criminal District Court in Harris County has not determined when the first hearing will be in the case against Rosalía Sánchez for the crime of drunk driving homicide in the death of the four-year-old girl.

In the case documents it is detailed that Rosalía Sánchez is a mother but it is not specified whether she is the mother of any of the four girls or the boy who were with her in the car at the time of the brutal accident.
