Francisca Lachapel revealed that during her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2015, five years after her arrival, it had been difficult for her to arrive alone and with nothing in a new country. She said that for a long time she didn’t have a permanent place to stay because she couldn’t afford it:

“I went a full year with my suitcase exactly as I had brought it from Santo Domingo (her city of origin) because I could not unpack anywhere. I didn’t know the moment when I was going to leave because I sometimes had no money to pay,” she commented with tears in her eyes, just years after selling pots in the United States.

This comment led to various attacks on the young man, who seemed to not have realized that this could be interpreted in many negative ways. A follower wrote the following: “You’re no man, more like a gossipy little woman.”

Was it a compliment or an insult to compare her to Princess Fiona?

Faced with a wave of attacks, the user decided to answer. He stated that at no time did he mean that as an insult but rather as a compliment: “Miss, with all due respect, the comment is in a good light. I think the photo of Francisca is beautiful. And in my opinion, it is like Princess Fiona, who, in case you don’t remember, has two sides.” COMMENT HERE

The fans of the film Shrek may well remember Princess Fiona as one of the most beautiful princesses of the “far far away” kingdom. When she met the ogre Shrek, the princess turned from a human into an ogre, just like Shrek. What do you think of this incident? Did he really insult her, or do you think it was a compliment?
