In addition to these emotional words, the former host of programs like Wake up America and Un Nuevo Día shared an image in which she and the Peruvian actor appear in the telenovela Mundo de Juguetes, which aired from 1974 to 1977 with great success.

Ricardo Blume’s death takes the middle of the show by surprise in a year in which many celebrities have died from various health complications, most of them due to the coronavirus.

Ricardo Blume was 87 years old and in addition to theater, he triumphed thanks to television by participating in Mexican soap operas such as María la del Barrio, Amor Real and Carrusel de las Américas.

The Peruvian actor was active in the world of theater and television since he was 19 years old, and he also founded the Theater of the Catholic University; He was also recognized with the medal “My life in the theater”, a fairly high prestige award in Mexico, awarded by the Unesco Theater Institute.

According to what was published by the newspaper El Comercio, Ricardo Blume suffered from different diseases such as Parkinson’s and pneumonia, data that were confirmed by the journalist Patricia Del Río: “He had no quality of life, he was with his daughter and his wife in the hospital”, commented.

For her part, Ricardo Blume’s niece, Cecilia, posted her farewell to the actor on Twitter: “My uncle Negro, the last of the Blume Traverso, the one who appeared on TV and was ‘famous’. A nice family, happy and very close. Today they met my uncle Freddy, Eddy, Jackie and my dad. They will be playing guitar, cajon, maracas and even spoons, until very late today ”, he concluded.
