The news portal The Sun reported on the death of the American actor Eddie Mekka, who was famous for his role in the TV sitcom Laverne & Shirley. The artist was found dead in his house. His neighbors had not seen him for several days before he was found.

The Sun US reported on the death of Eddie Mekka, 69. It is argued that the star died on November 27. The actor’s brother, Warren Mekka, told TMZ that Eddie was found dead at his home in Newhall, California, after some neighbors worried that they had not seen the actor for several days.

Eddie Mekka’s neighbors who were wondering what had happened to him called the corresponding authorities to carry out a welfare check. It was then that they found the American actor dead inside his home in California.

Although his brother Warren did not say anything about the cause of his death, he did point out to TMZ that the actor had recently been hospitalized for blood clots and could barely walk. So far, there has been no indication that someone broke into his home or that foul play was involved.

According to the The New York Post, one of his greatest friends and colleagues from Berklee College of Music, Pat Benti, decided to share his thoughts about the death of Eddi Mekka last November.

Through his Facebook, Benti asked that all investigations into the deceased American be stopped out of respect for the grief of his relatives. He also asked his fans to share their “most beautiful memories” of the actor, in addition to offering their condolences to his loved ones.

The late actor’s body of work is quite large since he started in 1975, starring in his first Broadway musical entitled The Lieutenant. His debut year earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.

Later, according to The Sun US, the actor moved to Los Angeles, where he was chosen to appear in the series Laverne & Shirley, a spin-off of the series Happy Days. He played Shirley’s boyfriend, a character who would launch him to international fame.

Eddie Mekka was married to actress DeLee Lively from 1983 to 1992 before marrying Yvonne Marie Grace in 1994, with whom he had a daughter named Mia.

Heath Freeman from the Bones series died

Heath Freeman’s outstanding career began in 2001 by appearing in an episode of ER. Then, he got some roles in different productions, such as Navy: Criminal Investigation and The Wonderful World of Disney, until he joined Bones in 2005–2007, playing Howard Epps. He also appeared in other television projects, such as Without a trace, The Closer, Winning the Trial, and Trust Me.
