Good news! Stimulus payments continue to arrive and are available in every state in the U.S. However, the amount of cash varies by state and by terms of eligibility stipulated by local governments, reported. The Sun.
This year, aid from state governments in the US ranges from $300 to $2,000 and is primarily aimed at families who continue to struggle with the economic consequences of by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Is this a fourth stimulus check?
As 2021 ends, some states in the country are offering economic aid which many call a “fourth stimulus check”. However, these payments vary depending on each location and in many cases only specific groups of people qualify for the aid.
For example, in the case of Alabama, it is unlikely that residents will receive more money. However, Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy announced that he wanted to give residents the additional income that the state made in November from increased oil production. In Arizona, unemployed residents who find a new job can take advantage of the state’s Back To Work program. Residents who return to work part-time are eligible for a $1,000 check, while those who find full-time jobs could receive a cash payment of $2,000.

For its part, California offered the Golden State Incentive program to residents who should have filed their 2020 tax return before October 15. About half of the nine million residents received their checks as of October 31, and the remaining checks are being mailed. A salary of between $30,000 and $75,000 a year qualified California residents for $600, and $1,100 for those with children under the age of 18, The Sun explained.
